Visiting at Clontarf Hospital is restricted at this time in line with national guidelines. The incidence of COVID-19 in the Community poses a risk to the health and safety of the patients and staff of Clontarf Hospital.
Visiting is strictly by appointment only and must be pre booked. Contact the relevant ward in advance to make an appointment.
Visits can be arranged for the 25th, 26th 27th and 28th December 2021 between 14.00 and 16.00. Speak to a member of staff on the relevant ward to make an appointment.
Visitors will be asked to produce their EU Digital COVID Certificate or HSE COVID-19 Vaccination Record or other proof of immunity at the hospital entrance. You may also be asked to show some photo ID.
There are exemptions from the requirement for the EU Digital COVID Certificate or HSE COVID-19 Vaccination Record or other proof of immunity on compassionate grounds. If this is the case, the person wishing to visit must contact the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) of the ward.
Children should not come to the hospital.
Theses restrictions are necessary for the safety of our patients, staff and community to reduce the further spread of COVID-19 infection.
Strictly no flowers or plants are allowed in the Hospital; they pose a risk of infection to susceptible patients.
Would you like to send a message or letter to a friend or loved one who is a patient at Clontarf Hospital? One of our staff will deliver your message to the patient.
We can also arrange a “Virtual Visit” with your loved one using video calling.
