MANAGEMENT
The hospital is governed by a Board of Governors of 15 members. The day to day managerial and operational responsibilities of the hospital are entrusted to the Chief Executive who is appointed by the Board and is directly accountable to them. The hospital has a staff of over 160 people of varying disciplines.

OFFICIAL OPENING
The new hospital buildings were officially opened by Seán Haughey, T.D., Minister for Lifelong Learning, on Wednesday June 30th, 2010.
